Jeremy Kidd: Fictional Realities @ Fahey/Klein
Kidd uses a work-intensive process stitching and blending together digital images to form architectural landscapes. Multiple points of view and time-lapse photography are meshed creating crooked buildings and mutating skyscapes. They are eerie because they are both real and unreal. The distorted cityscape isn’t what you would see standing at a fixed point and taking a snapshot, but more like what you would experience if you were actually there moving around for awhile and then remembered it later.
